Le Guarde Azure is the only guard within the Outlands that holds a Royal Charter. We defend the southern borders of the Outlands in the Crown's name, and regularly lead the southern Outlands at Estrella War.

Members of Le Guarde Azure can be recognized by the distinctive tabard or cloak -- blue, with a white cross fleury. Guards are selected for their efforts and skill in recreating period rapier and impeccable fashion sense. (Well, okay...maybe just for attempting to recreate the period in dress and style.)

The Guarde is designed around a military rank system. While our captain is chosen by tournament on an annual basis, our officers (lieutenants) are given a permanent commission.
